The land and its fruits

A LAND RICH OF RESOURCES

Monferrato has always been a great wine country, where vineyards on the best terrains and exposures alternate with lush forest land. On these green hills, Tacchino Winery covers 25 hectares, about half of which are planted.
The south-southeast exposure, the white soil and the natural amphitheatre sheltering the vineyards from the northerly winds, combined with the low production per hectare, ensure a careful nurture of the product to achieve excellent quality.
The harvest takes place at optimal times throughout September and October. Grapes are carefully handpicked, selected and boxed in the vineyard with meticulous attention to the tradition of direct contact between the land and the product.

THE FRUITS OF OUR PASSION

Today, Romina and Alessio manage the entire family business, from production to sales. Thanks to the selective use of new cultivation technologies, attentive supervision by highly trained agronomists and advisory support of expert oenologists, Tacchino wines are the result of rigorous and continuous controls in the vineyard and in the cellar, adding value and esteem to old traditions that are increasingly rare.
Paying homage to the experience of their ancestors, Romina and Alessio are continuing the work of their beloved grandfather, Carletto, and projecting, at the same time, a family dream into the future.
